Ms. Yue You Meng, 27, heard a cat meowing from a roadside box while walking home in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, China. As she approached, she suddenly discovered two crouching kittens, covered in yellow paint.

She said, “I realized the noise was coming from the box on the side of the road, and when I approached to open the box, I discovered two poor cats with yellow paint all over their bodies, they can’t even open the box. opened their eyes because they were glued to the paint. Seeing them as so pitiful, I brought them home to bathe and find a way to remove the paint on them.”

However, because she could not remove the paint from the two cats, Ms. Meng took them to a local animal center. Here, it took the veterinarians many hours to peel off the paint that was stuck.

The veterinarians cut a lot of hair to remove the paint from the cat.
“Now they are stronger and can walk. However, at present, they still can’t see clearly. Moreover, due to their hair being cut too much, they look pitiful. Even so, they were happy. playing with other cats,” Ms. Meng said.
At present, it is not clear whether these two cats accidentally fell into the paint bucket or were intentionally painted all over their bodies before being abandoned.
