The Siberian Husky is known to be a, let’s say challenging breed to have and own. It’s a dog that boasts of a striking look, reminding you of how they descended from wolves.

Save for the personality. A husky is like that overly energetic child who will not respond when called once it sees an opening. It is a dog that will run out and explore the entire neighborhood.

Chances are you won’t see the dog for hours until it gets tired and comes home for food.

Except for this adorable dog. Millie is a really pretty husky who would prefer laying down next to his human’s newborn, Daisy. And it’s a two minute video full of awwws.

Just look at Millie’s eyes!

It’s like she’s so full of concern, ready to help with anything little Daisy needs. For now though, all the baby girl requires is her fluffy warmth. And Millie is more than willing to stay put.

Considering she’s a breed known for being athletic, confident, and stubborn, Millie is pretty docile right now.

And all it took was one innocent baby!

“Oh I so hope this dog is young enough that they can grow up together. One thing is certain, you’ll never have to worry about your kid as long as this dog is around. She’s going to protect her with her life.” commented a viewer named Bomber.

And Bomber is so right about that.

Or perhaps Millie just came from a round of exercise, hence her behavior here. Or maybe she just had a bowl full of good food. Whatever it was, she’s not going anywhere!

There are always concerns when a vulnerable baby is anywhere near an animal.

Dogs are sociable creatures. They’ll need time to adjust though, since they’re used to getting all your time and attention.

“Canines are smitten with babies and can form strong connections because of the amount of time spent together. Both a baby and a dog, especially a young pup, have a common desire for a playmate and someone who will give them attention.”

Just make sure you’re there to supervise. AKC continues by saying,

“The relationship your baby will create with your pup is unique and can have both physical and psychological advantages for their development. One of the most significant benefits is that dogs make babies happy. It’s also been proven that interacting with dogs raises levels of serotonin and dopamine, the chemical building blocks of positive feelings. They’re also just fun to be around.”

Daisy and Millie have so many more years ahead of them!

She’s got a furrever friend and protector in a dog whose heart is just bursting with love for her.

Just look at how Daisy instinctively grabs on to Millie’s head. And the dog knows it. She snuggles closer to the baby, soaking in the moment as she wants Daisy to know that she’s always there for her.

It’s an adorable moment you just have to see! Click play below!
